As Senior Scholarship and Development Officer, Jennyfer is responsible for $1.6 million in scholarship funds that support more than 600 students in greater Hartford. She works with scholars, parents, counselors and generous donors to help students achieve a college education.

Prior to joining the Hartford Foundation, Jennyfer was a manager of INROADS New England Region, securing student internships with corporate sponsors, and worked in underwriting for Chubb Insurance. She earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from Spelman College.

Are you involved in any volunteer activities?
I am currently the secretary and a member of the Farmington Valley Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, and am a Diamond Life member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. As a proud graduate of Spelman College, I am a charter member and serve as Treasurer of the New England Alumnae Chapter. I also chair the Historical Society of the First Baptist Church in Milford. I have served in various leadership roles for the American School for the Deaf, Aurora Women and Girls Foundation, and Junior League of Hartford.
