A legacy of lasting impact

Linda J. Kelly retired as the Hartford Foundation’s president on March 19, 2017. During her 11-year tenure, Linda led the Foundation through a time of impressive and meaningful growth. Assets reached an all-time high despite several years of severe, external economic turmoil; and the Foundation set annual grantmaking records, supporting hundreds of area nonprofits and creating lasting impact. During this time, the Foundation broadened its outreach to diverse populations, continued to solidify its philanthropic and community leadership roles, and strengthened collaborative efforts on the local, state and national levels.

Thank you, Linda. Your contributions to the Foundation and Greater Hartford will continue to guide our progress and make a difference for years to come. We wish you the best in this next chapter of your life.
